Between 4th and 6th September 2019, PACJA was represented in a regional workshop convened by WaterAid East Africa, whose aim was to build a common agenda on WASH advocacy amongst civil society networks for the achievement of SDG 6. Attended by WASH national CSO networks from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ethiopia, together with non-WASH partners, (PACJA, FEMNET and Jegnit) the workshop purposed to build a common agenda on WASH advocacy amongst civil society networks for the achievement of SDG 6.

Influencing the AfDB to shift investments from fossil fuels to sustainable energies and increase its outlay in energy access in Sub-Saharan Africa

The Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA), through its national platforms in Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, Ghana Botswana and Kenya, is implementing a project in partnership with Christian Aid, that targets to “Influence the African Development Bank (AfDB) to shift investments from fossil fuels to sustainable energies and increase its outlay in energy access in Sub-Saharan Africa”. The project is funded by CS Mott Foundation.
